Can you go-kart or ride an ATV in Phuket when it rains?
Usually yes. Phuket showers are often short, and go-karts, ATVs and buggies keep running in light rain. Our staff close an activity only when conditions are not safe. If we close your activity, we offer you a new date or a full refund.
- Light rain: activities usually keep running
- Staff decide on the day if conditions are safe
- We close: new date or full refund, no fees
- Rainy season in Phuket: roughly May to October
What changes when it rains
- Go-kart: a wet track has less grip, so you brake earlier and drive smoother. Many drivers enjoy the challenge.
- ATV and buggy: the trails turn muddy. Expect to get splashed and bring a change of clothes.
When we close
Our staff check the track and trails on the day and close an activity if heavy rain or a storm makes it unsafe. If we cancel your booking for weather, safety or any reason on our side, we offer a new date or a full refund with no fees deducted. See our refund policy.
