What is a buggy ride in Phuket like, and who is it for?
At Eagle Adventure Phuket in Kathu a buggy ride is 30 minutes on our off-road jungle trails, seated behind a steering wheel. A single buggy is 1,600 baht, a two-seat buggy 2,000 baht for two. It suits couples, friends and families who prefer a wheel to handlebars.

Who the buggy suits
You sit in a seat and steer with a wheel, so if you have never ridden a motorbike the buggy feels more familiar than an ATV. The two-seat buggy lets two people share the ride, one driving and one beside them, which makes it popular with couples, friends and families where one person would rather be a passenger.
Single or two-seat?

The ride
Thirty minutes on our own off-road trails in Kathu: turns, climbs, bumps and a few challenging sections, surrounded by greenery. Expect dust in dry weather and mud after rain. No off-road experience is needed; our team explains the buggy and gives a safety briefing before you start.
Practical details
- Arrive 15 minutes before your time for check-in and the briefing.
- Wear closed shoes and clothes that can get dirty (what to wear).
- A damage deposit of 2,000 baht per group (4,000 baht for 7 or more vehicles) is paid at the venue and returned in cash after the ride.
