Best ATV Experience in Phuket?

What makes a good ATV experience in Phuket?

Look for private off-road trails rather than public roads, a safety briefing, a clear deposit rule and honest riding time. Eagle Adventure Phuket in Kathu runs 30-minute rides on its own jungle trails on 200cc and 300cc ATVs, with a briefing before every ride, from 1,200 baht.

  • Our own off-road trails in Kathu, no public roads
  • Safety briefing before every ride
  • 30 minutes of riding per ticket, 200cc or 300cc
  • Damage deposit 2,000 baht per group, returned after the ride

Five questions to ask any ATV operator

  • Where do you ride? Private off-road trails keep you away from cars. Ask whether any part of the route is on a public road.
  • Is there a briefing? You should be shown the controls and the rules before you set off, whatever your experience.
  • What about damage? Ask how much the deposit is, when it is paid and how it comes back, before you arrive.
  • How long do I actually ride? Compare riding time, not total time including transfers and waiting.
  • Who can ride? Ask for the age and height rules before you book for children.

How Eagle Adventure Phuket answers them

Our ATV rides run on our own jungle trails in Kathu, not on public roads. Every rider gets a safety briefing and a run-through of the controls before setting off. Each ticket is 30 minutes of riding on a 200cc or 300cc ATV. The damage deposit is 2,000 baht per group for up to 6 vehicles and 4,000 baht for 7 or more, paid at the venue and returned in cash after the ride. For age and height rules, tell us the rider's age before booking.

Make it part of a day

Go-karts and buggies run from the same place, so you can add a 10-minute kart session to your ride. Patong is about 13 km away, roughly 20–30 minutes by taxi; see how to get here from Patong.
